Childrens Activities

There are a range of activities on offer at Carrville Methodist Church specifically for young people. Some brief details of these events are given below:

  • Bring all the family along to our new Messy Church venture. Once a month, on the 2nd Sunday, 4-6pm. Join us for crafts, celebration and food. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Calling all children (those who have completed Reception up to Year 8) for our annual holiday club that takes place each July.
  • Brownies meet on Mondays and Tuesdays (5.30pm - 7pm) and enables girls aged 7 - 10 years to work for interest badges developing a wide range of useful skills.
  • Guides meet on Wednesday (7.15-9pm) when girls aged 10 - 15 years follow their own organised programme leading to further self development as individuals and members of a team.
  • Carrville Kids meets each Sunday morning where children progress through the three groups, each enjoying its own distinctive pattern of activity. There is a crèche for under 3s, Play and Pray is for younger children and Friends of God is for older children.
  • Pram Club meets Monday and Thursday afternoons (1pm-3pm) and is an informal (sometimes hectic!) social gathering of parents and guardians with their young children. All are welcome to this.
